Memorial Day Update

MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND: On Saturday, Mommy & Dada went on a double date with A-go and Uncle Mitch, so I played with A-ma, A-gong, Atticus and Skyler.

On Sunday, we celebrated Dada's birthday at H.T. Grill in Redondo Beach.

Here is the whole family!

Dada got a PS3 from Uncle Felix, the Changs, A-gong and A-ma -- and I WANT IT! I crawled over to try to get ahold of it before Mommy wrapped it, but the box is big!

Grampy and Granny got Dada a new camera so the world could get better, clearer pictures of MOI!

See how well it works?! Mommy is testing it out before we headed out to my first Fiesta Hermosa on Monday. After a while, I made it my personal 'Siesta' Hermosa, if you know what I mean! ;)

Uncle Teddy and Aunt Lily stopped by to say hi before Mommy tried putting me in my new mini-pool. (Note: I did not like it one bit. Too cold in Cali still ... duh, Mom!)

I'm very sad, but we went to my first Memorial Day BBQ on Sunday evening at Uncle Jimmy & Aunt Rosana's house -- and I didn't get any pictures because Dada was busy working trying to chase down information on Kobe.

On Tuesday, Mommy brought me on a field trip to the South Coast Botanical Gardens for our weekly Mommy & Me class.

See Mommy and me and my friends, the non-rubber duckies?

Happy birthday, Dada! I LOVE YOU!

More May of Me

After I publicized on my blog that I'm ranked among the world's best overnight sleepers, I decided I'd had enough of that. Now I prefer to get up at 6 a.m. (instead of 9 a.m.) to play. I love crawling and pulling myself up onto the furniture so much that I can't help but wake up early. It's so fun throwing everything off the coffee table so Mommy & Dada can clean up after me. I think they should child-proof this house soon but they seem sort of lazy about it (OK, only Mommy seems lazy. I think she prefers to wake up one morning and it all be done -- *hint hint*, Dada!) .

Mommy went to the new Glen Ivy HB spa with Granny on Wednesday (I can't wait till I'm old enough to go. My life of sleeping, eating and playing is tough, too, you know!) -- so here are pictures of Granny and Grampy playing with me ...

There is a ball that I want, but Granny is trying to make me say, 'Please.' Don't they know, I can only say, "Dada"?

Mommy has a reputation of squeezing Inu and me so tight our eyes bulge out. I think we can confirm where she got that from. I am adorable, so I guess I can see why they do it.

Oh, am I in trouble? (I'm with Nanny Linda.)

May 2007

Fun with Dada is No. 1! No. 1!

Even during my struggle with eczema (see my sore neck!), I've stayed sweet!

And I've learned how to crawl, too.

I don't care what Major League Baseball says; steroids are great!
Look how they cured my eczema in a jiffy!

A-Go (Aunt Kristen) and I bonded on Hermosa Beach during our Mother's Day picnic.

Look at me and Aunt Debbie. She thinks my blog is so cool, she requested to be included.

I'm really, really trying to grow my eyes bigger the way my mommy wants me to.

I'm no longer off the charts for weight, but I'm still ranked among the world's best overnight sleepers! Good night!

April 2007

I love taking baths with my rubber duckie and Mommy.
By the way, can you guess what classic song Dada found himself singing to me?

I wanna go to TEXAS!

Happy Easter! Do you like my tutu and bunny bib? Uncle Felix and Aunt Geena got them for me. I look cute, huh?

Oh! My life is so tough here in the sunny Southern California climate.

Who needs a little sibling? I have friends: T.L., Kendall and Riley.

My first taste of food at seven months and 25 days. My pediatrician says Mommy's milk is 'the best'! So I started solids later.

More!

Early 2007 (January-March)

January 2007: Month 5

Flower power!

This is my Uncle Felix with his stinky but cute dog, Crystal.

Dada is trying to make me look like mommy by squishing my face to make my eyes look bigger. Do I?

I know all kinds of ways to make Dada smile!

February 2007: Month 6

Where are all the photos of me crying? Oh, I don't cry! (Unless I want something.)

My first Valentine's Day. Will Mommy share Dada with me, please?

I LOVE the swings at the beach, but today was windy!!!
Look at me! I won an Oscar for cutest baby! (At least that is what my mommy and daddy tell me.)
March 2007: Month 7

Mommy and Dada are diligently documenting my chubbiness.

Here are Grampy & Granny -- Mommy's parents.

Here are A-Gong & A-Ma -- Dada's parents.

Go, Lakers!
Check out the rolls on my arms. (And thanks to Auntie Leslie for the cute outfit!)

Oh! It's Mommy's birthday! Happy birthday!

Going back to 2006 (August-December)

Sedona Chenny Ding's arrival

Born Aug. 31, 2006, at 9:34 p.m., at Little Company of Mary Hospital in Torrance, CA
September 2006: Month 1
It's not just me; newborns always look like aliens.
Slobber, slobber.
October 2006: Month 2

I wear pink, but people still sometimes call me "he." :(

How smart am I? I can use the phone and TV remote -- all the important stuff.

Happy Halloween: I'm a Chili Pepper ('cuz I'm HOT)!

November 2006: Month 3
I love red envelopes. I have the best grandparents! I'm a lucky dog.
Will I be a future Wildcat and show my smarts at Northwestern?
Or will I go to a fun school and be a fightin' Texas Aggie?
December 2006: Month 4

See if you can spot my tongue!
'Da-da' says this is the most artistic photo Mommy has ever taken in her life!

Dada is going on the road for my first Christmas, so I'll just take what I can get.
