Happy 12th Birthday, Sedona!

Sedona had her birthday party at AMC Theaters the day before school started to the festivities. She had 19 friends watch Dog Days.

Then this morning in the tradition of the Natalie and Wesley Wang with the Ding's, Bu and Natalie surprised Sedona with donuts! Yum!

Then after school, Sedona had a list of things she wanted to do that we were all happy to participate in (beauty of an older kid)!

We started by hitting Baskin Robbin's "Celebrate 31" where on the months with a 31st day, ice cream is only $1.50.

We then went to the Planet Escape Room and did the Wiseguys Game which was about "The FBI has been working undercover for years to gather intel on the infamous chicago mobsters. Now, you and your fellow agents have a chance to bring down the mob but they key agent who has been leading the investigation is missing in action. You have one hour to locate the evidence or these wise guys will walk free"

Maven was then dropped off at one of her BFF's house to celebrate Sally Stoler's Stranger Thing Theme 11th sleepover birthday party - and Sedona picked up one of her BFF's Naomi Gan for her favorite restaurant, Souplantation and then foot massages!!!

It was a great day for all!

El Capitan (Glamping) Trip with the Wynn and Ding-Chang Family

El Capitan is a place that many families in our community love to go to. It's called Glamping (glamours camping) so when our friend's Tim and Heidi Wynn said they were going, we jumped at the chance to enjoy getting a little rough and dirty... and well, we soon learned, not our thing!

Sedona took Natalie as part of her birthday present as Maven had her friend Sydney (the Wynn's younger daughter)

Kids scooter around the camp grounds which was fun... letting them roam and be free!

We did a camp fire every night making yummy smores!

We got one with nature, seeing lots of squirrels, bats, mice (so cute), skunks and different kinds of birds. Here is one mouse in the Wynn's cabin. So cute!

They had goats and llamas on the grounds. The llamas were left there by the previous owners and weren't very friendly.

Kids went horseback riding. Maven's horse wouldn't move so poor girl got pulled by the instructor and couldn't do anything.

The Ding-Chang family showed up on the last day/evening and we hit the beach. The girls had so much fun.

Final picture before we left... and let me document here that kevin was up before ALL of us and started packing the car and getting us out the door to leave. Clearly, he did not enjoy the overprice ($400/night) experience... think The Ranch at Rock Creek more our style for dirty :-)

Baby Ding #3: Week 34

I promise we are SUPER excited about having Baby Ding #3 and have been working very hard on her name (but are yet to have one). Among the 4 of us, we cannot agree on one that is perfect enough for this precious new addition.

At Week 34, I can say Baby Ding is a mover and shaker. She move a lot at night before bedtime and is always pushing to my right side. It feels like she moves and plays more than the other girls when they were in my belly. She has hiccups all the time. Kevin says he feels bad for her and it probably scares her in the belly but doctor says it doesn't and she is fine.

We are excited to meet her on Thursday September 20 at 12:30pm at Kaiser South Bay (just did the hospital tour on Tuesday).
