Rain Days
By MAGGIE WANG
Kevin left us Wed., Jan. 20 for a 14-day Lakers road trip -- and left us also with yucky rainy weather!
So this is what we do!
Bryce and Natalie come over to hang, but who knew we'd be having a mani-pedi party.
There were also birthday parties galore: Sat., Jan. 23, Salem's 4th at Adventureplex in Manhattan (she is one of Sedona's close school friends) and Sun., Jan. 24, Ethan Maleman's 2nd at My Gym.
Plus, we had fun playdates with Riley, T.L., Hailey, Landry, McKinsey, Isabelle, Sienna, Ryder, Raychel and Charlotte.

Sand sledding with Daddy
By MAGG IE WANG
Kevin came home Thursday, so we've been having some nice family time.
We took the girls sand sledding (again!) because Kevin didn't get to experience it before. The minute the sled came out, the girls screeched with excitement. It was so cute.
We've learned that the circular saucer sleds work better than the long sleds, so we'll be in the market for one soon.
Doesn't she look like a little person with those adorable white pants (and Sedona's Paul Frank jacket)?
Our baby is really growing up too fast.
Classic sweet, thoughtful and meticulous Sedona.
Daddy is so funny! He made them laugh with little sea shells together like a clam mouth talking to them. Sedona named him "Clammy."

Portland, Nike and No Taxes!
By MAGGIE WANG
I followed the husband to Portland again this year for a mini-vacation but well, worked most of it ... but it was still nice, fun and relaxing. This is the view from our hotel room.
You might think the gloominess brought me down, but it was a nice change of pace from our always-sunny weather -- especially cozied up in the hotel room.
We made our Nike Employee Store run, staying under $1k at $771. I still feel we spent too much, but it was fun and everyone is happy. I also took advantage of no sales tax in Oregon and got me a new Louis Vuitton. I call it a long-term investment, as my daughters will be able to use the LV in the future since it is a classic style.

Ringing In 2010
By MAGGIE WANG
Debbie came in from Houston on Thursday to ring in the New Year in L.A., with me ... a decade after we rang in 2000 together while crashing at Kevin's bachelor pad.
It's interesting to think about how much has changed and not changed in the past 10 years.
We started the night at the house of Jason and Anita and then headed out to Bodega Bar in Santa Monica to meet up with some of Anita's other pals.(All photos courtesy of Anita's camera.)
We had a great time - perfect amount of alcohol and fun... well, besides, Teddy *wink*
The girls slept over at A-Gong and A-Ma Ding's house so we could stay out late and sleep in. The next day, Kevin eventually headed off to work while Debbie, Anita and I started our first day of 2010 at Aveda, having a nice massage, facial and pedicure.
I am excited for 2010. I know we'll be creating many happy and fun memories -- and learning more about life, making us better people.
