It's my BIRTHDAY today!!!

My friends -- Riley, Kendall, Gabby and Alex (and TL, in spirit) -- celebrated my birthday with me yesterday with a carrot cake at our playdate. Thanks, Riley. It was yummy.

Today, I got to spend the day with my Daddy and Mommy -- before A-Gong and A-Ma Wang came over with another birthday cake!

Then Mommy & Daddy are throwing me a family party on Labor Day. YAY! More cake!

Thanks for all the birthday wishes!

Houston Trip

Here we are at LAX for my first plane flight ever, and it's to Houston, Texas. I'm flying in style -- and I was super good on the plane. Here is Uncle Douglas. I usually like guys, but he's wearing pink so I'm a little confused.
Here I am with Mommy's high school tennis doubles partner, Michelle, and her son, Colby (he's cute), and of course Auntie Sara.

I'm dutifully coloring at Mommy's favorite restaurant, Pappadeaux. Daddy did an amazing job taking care of me. He is a great Manny!

That is Laney!! My first 'in-belly" friend. Our mommys say we have to be friends. I think we'll manage; we both love to eat!
I met Auntie Valerie for the first time. She's one of mommy's oldest friends. They've known each other since fourth grade! She bought me the cutest A&M cheerleading outfit. Thank you!
I got to spend a lot of time with my Auntie Jennie & Auntie Debbie. They were always up for eating - Mexican, crawfish, beignets ... you name it!
My first time staying at Mommy & Daddy's home in Houston: the JW Marriott.
Congratulations! Auntie Jennie and Uncle Peter are engaged.

I like to put my finger in Auntie Debbie's mouth. Do you think she sees my finger sneaking up there?
I'm with Grandma Jane Lin (Jennie's mom). I like her; she thinks I get cuter by the minute.
Here is Baby Alex Lin. He's a cutie.
I'm with Alex's dad, John (Jennie's brother) ... but I'm pointing over at Uncle Peter. I think Auntie Jennie is more than a little jealous.
Thanks to everyone for a wonderful trip in Houston. It might be hot and humid, but it is worth it to see you!

Mid-August Visitors

On Saturday (8/11), my cousins came over to play with us -- but they didn't seem as interested in me. They kept playing with this silly thing called a PS3.
Here's Daddy and Skyler and ... A-Gong Ding and Atticus.
A-Ma Wang came over to play with me in the sun on our rooftop deck. It was fun. I threw balls out of my pool and she'd pick them up. ...
"Go Get It!" Uncle Teddy Greenstein came for dinner last night. ...

Hmm, why is he giving me a wedgie? I don't think I like that.
But I do like this! Thank you, TG!

Gosh, I have a lot of aunts and uncles!

Auntie Rosana (Uncle Jimmy's wife) came to visit me. She brought me presents! Puzzles -- I love them!
Aunt Wendy & Uncle David are visiting from Charlotte. They are expecting a little girl - just like me!
Like the pretty new dress they gave me?!
I think I'll just chill here while Wendy and Mommy catch up.
Uncle David is so silly!

Sedona in Sedona (AZ): Aug. 1-5

We are going LEFT! My first vacation to Sedona, Az., with both sets of grandparents in tow.

Thank you, A-gongs & A-mas. I feel so lucky! We are at the Chapel of the Holy Cross. The red rocks are beautiful, huh?
Look, more ...
... and more rocks!
We then went shopping in uptown Sedona - I'm trying to suffocate Buddha. I wonder if that is bad karma. Oops!
I'm never too tired to walk for shopping. I take after Mommy.
Oh, this backpack is cute. Should we get it?
Hmm ... no, thanks ... then they'll make me carry things. But then again, I could surely get someone to carry me!
Here we are at the Slide Rock State Park. It was fun! I'd highly recommend it.
There is Daddy gleefully going down the rock slide.
Ouch! Beware, it can be slippery (Mommy fell, too).
Here's the whole gang!
A-gong and A-ma Ding bought me this cute pink hat at the Tlaquepaque Arts & Craft Village.
Hee-hee, I'm sitting on the 'kissing frog' -- I wonder if he knows.
Here is everyone at L'Auberge Hotel and Restaurant (recommended by Rachael Ray)
A picture of Mommy & Daddy with me after lunch. With a full tummy I'm always willing to smile.
Here we are at Red Rock Crossing State Park. I'm traveling in style!
Gosh! It was tough being strolled by Daddy and also carried by my grandmothers. Nap Time! :~)
It's A-Gong Ding's birthday today! I should practice for my first birthday, which is coming up super soon!
Wow! What a great trip! I'm pooped!

Vegas Baby

Let's go to BIGGER photos, because I'm getting BIGGER
(well, at least taller). Plus, we have a new Nikon SLR so you can enjoy sharper images!
Here is my first trip out of California: July 30-Aug. 1 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

I'm helping A-gong and A-ma check into the Paris.
I'm trying to help this fella clean up, but he won't give up the darn broom! Gimme it!
