By KEVIN DINGSedona told me after I picked her up from school that she had the honor of reading in the teacher's seat to her class today -- something no other student has ever done.
Miss Marisa asked Sedona if she knew this Dr. Seuss book, "Hop on Pop." Sedona said: "I can read that book." Then Miss Marisa gave Sedona the book and told her to sit in the teacher's chair in the circle of kids.
(While I was asking Sedona again just now to clarify the details of this story, she climbed up on my lap and immediately started reading the first paragraph of this post -- because she saw the words on my screen and simply loves to read! So she helped me write the second paragraph about what exactly happened today.)
Great job reading to the whole class, Sedona!
